Imprinted Concrete

Imprinted concrete has become a popular choice of paving by many residents in Berkshire. It is an extremely hard wearing material, but if left exposed to the elements without protection, damage can start to occur.

When your imprinted concrete was first laid a coat of sealer should have been applied, providing protection from UV light , staining, surface wear, algae and growths, which are characteristics of many driveways and patios in areas across Berkshire, including Newbury, Crowthorne, Sandhurst and Windsor.   

At Driveway Cleaning Berkshire, we are registered installers for Smartseal concrete sealers and can clean, repair and seal imprinted paving throughout Berkshire, restoring your driveway or patio to look like it has just been laid.

Once pressure cleaned and left to dry, the restoration process can begin. Surface damage and cracks can easily be repaired using Smartseal crack repair compound and if there is any colour loss, caused by UV light or sub-standard materials, there are colour tints that are available in a choice of colours.

For optimum results, at least 2 coats of Smartseal high quality, imprinted concrete sealer should generally be applied, together with some anti slip for those problem areas. By repeating this process every 3-5 years, deterioration and maintenance will be minimal.
