Roof Cleaning and Coating

Homeowners in Berkshire have come to realise that having a clean roof that's clearly in very good order casts a 'halo' effect over your whole property!

Driveway Cleaners Berkshire have undergone full training with Smartseal™ and have completed many roof restoration projects in the area since 2010. Having seen the difference this process can make to roofs and properties, we invested in professional equipment to enable us to undertake any restoration project, large or small.

The restoration process involves:

1. Applying Smartseal™ Moss Clear to tackle moss, algae and lichens which have taken hold, if appropriate. Virtually all roofs in the area need this, we have found! 
2. Pressure washing with a Honda petrol-engined pressure washer connected to a 30 metre extension hose.
3. Small repairs are carried out if required. Typically, we may re-seat loose tiles, replace missing ones and re-bond ridge and crest tiles which are loose or un-seated.
4. Finally, we apply 2 coats of either Smartseal™ Roof Sealer or Roof Coating to give ongoing protection against the fungal growths and dirt and grime re-establishing themselves.

The Roof Sealer is a clear product which will enhance the existing colour of your tiles, whereas the Roof Coating is an Elastomeric coating, available in 5 colours at present with more available to order. 80% of our customers choose the coloured coating.
